CrimeBase is a multimedia database that assists law enforcement
agencies with differing information systems to securely share intelligence
data. Pictures, video, sound files, text and electronic documents are
collated with with easy to use import tools. And, once the information is
entered or imported, users can establish links between targets and
operations. CrimeBase supports the use of multiple records with
powerful search facilities and complies to the data standards as set out by the
European Committee for Human Rights (ECHR) with its 5x5x5 input wizard.
The operator can tag records for dissemination to other CrimeBase users. Records
can be sent locally or around the world securely with Photophone Shield, email
or over local or wide area networks.
